DUAL-INSTRUCTOR CLASS

Program Details

The first teacher: Based on the BC curriculum, interactive lectures fully stimulate students' learning enthusiasm and potential. Daily homework is set based on the difficulty of teaching in BC public schools and private schools.

The second teacher: bilingual tutors provide online Q&A guidance for 8 hours a day. During the Q&A period, they can solve intractable problems related to the course of the day, correct homework after class, and give students feedback in a timely manner. If you encounter problems that you can’t do, you can contact the teacher immediately to make an appointment for tutoring.

The model of teacher & teaching assistant: ask the teacher in class, ask the teaching assistant after class, and answer questions at any time. Teachers teach fluently in English, and teaching assistants use Chinese to communicate with parents cordially, overcoming language barriers. Parents can learn about students' learning trends from us at any time, and make up for the lack of communication between home and school in North America.

WEDO CLASS

WEDO Education offers English literature writing and reading courses, which are divided into four levels of difficulty: elementary, intermediate, advanced, and college preparation, for students of different ages and different language skills.

Literary Writing

1. Elementary short story writing

Teach children to learn the basic logic of writing, familiar with the sense of language, easy to use, and friendly to beginners.

2. Intermediate Writing

Children can learn basic beginning, succession and transition, as well as relatively multi-paragraph writing. Can use a relatively large vocabulary, and pay attention to lexical diversity. Understand the basic usage of foreshadowing and rhetoric.

3. Advanced Writing

Children can use a lot of rhetoric, can write articles of different styles and styles, and can write English to a very fluent and literary level.

4. College Prep Writing

Children can accurately list their own Points, and achieve a clear hierarchy. The style of writing is rigorous, and the choice of words and sentences are full of academics and readability.

English Reading

1. Elementary reading

With the goal of improving reading speed, keyword refinement, and information capture, develop a good habit of reading.

2. Intermediate reading (short story reading class)

Improve your vocabulary and read a variety of subjects. Can quickly understand the main idea of the article, and can summarize the general idea of each paragraph, and can retell the content of the article in closed book.

3. Advanced Reading

Compared with the emphasis on literature in the old provincial examination, the new provincial examination focuses more on social science articles in reading. During reading, students need to use diagrams, scientific literature, news reports and other professional content about a certain subject area to answer reading comprehension questions about relevant details. Advanced reading helps children greatly improve their vocabulary and requires them to be able to read and understand rich themes. Even if you encounter new words that you don’t know, it will not affect your understanding of the article. You can quickly grasp the key information at a glance, remember the details and refine the main idea.

4. College Prep Reading

Know a large amount of academic vocabulary, be able to read a large amount of boring academic materials, and form a critical thinking dialectical thinking about information.

Advanced Literature

Complement the missing reading comprehension and writing methods in BC Curriculum, improve children's performance in high school writing more comprehensively, and prepare for college papers in advance.

SAT CLASS

SAT is a standardized test for applying to American schools, mainly including learning ability tests in English and mathematics.

English part: For Chinese students, trying to improve our language proficiency, or mainly reading and writing language proficiency, is the first thing to do. For example, in high school, our Chinese level has reached the level where we can read articles of various genres, use various logic and rhetoric to write, and understand the hidden information and emotions behind the text. These also apply to English, so SAT requires students to have the same level of English proficiency, which cannot be solved by simple test-oriented education.

Mathematics section: SAT Mathematics mainly tests students' ability in three parts:

1. Ability to master mathematical knowledge

2. The application ability of mathematical knowledge (the test forms are application questions and chart questions. The first step in solving such questions is to understand the application scenarios described in the question, which requires students to have good English reading ability)

3. The ability to maintain careful patience under high pressure

In addition, thinking ability is also the real core of SAT examination, including the depth and breadth of thinking. The former refers to the extent to which the views on things and problems have reached, and whether they can gain insight into the essence of the problems; the latter involves the breadth of knowledge they have dabbled in, and whether they can understand the multiple topics encountered in life . Only in this way can we form what we often call Critical Thinking.

The temperature education SAT course not only teaches students to do the questions, but also teaches them to form a better way of thinking.
